EDI PROGRAMMER ANALYST II

Providence, Rhode Island

We are seeking an experienced individual to join our Data Processing team as an EDI Programmer Analyst II. The EDI Programmer Analyst II position fulfills three main functions. The first is to be responsible for troubleshooting and correcting EDI errors in existing applications. Second, this position will be responsible for the planned changes and enhancements to existing applications. Third, this individual will analyze user information in order to create new applications and systems.

 

Responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:

  • Create new applications and systems as needed

  • Modify and enhance existing applications as needed

  • Research and correct errors in existing applications

  • EDI mapping and integration

  • Create/modify UCC-128 labels

  • Create ODBC connections for FedEx and UPS

 

Knowledge of the following Applications are required:

  • Order Entry, shipping and Invoicing

  • EDI: 850, 856, 810, 820, 870

  • AS400

 

The following technical skills are required:

  • RPG IV and ILE

  • CL, DDS and sub files

  • TL Ashford Barcode

  • Trusted Link

  • DBU

 

Other qualifications, experiences and skills required:

  • Keen attention to detail

  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to interact supportively with a variety of users and customers

  • Ability to stay focused on task

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization (e.g., executive, management, individual contributors)

  • 10 years of experience as an EDI Programmer Analyst or related position preferably in a similar industry

DATA SPECIALIST

Providence, Rhode Island

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team in the roll of Data Specialist.

 

Key Responsibilities:

This position encompasses product system maintenance, data updating and initializing data for information upload.

 

Experience and Skills Required:

  • High School diploma or GED

  • Proficient computer skills specifically Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

  • Must be extremely organized and keep meticulous attention to detail

  • Excellent critical thinking skills with a passion for problem solving and a desire for knowledge

  • Able to adapt to constant change

  • Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills are necessary to effectively work with our global factories

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manages product data cycle and ensures all data meets our margin objectives. All information is on time and market ready

  • Responsible for data margin analysis and final system entry

  • Direct interface with Design/Development Department for detailed knowledge of upcoming data introductions

  • Creates and maintains system data sheet for each market

  • Distributes and updates all data changes and ensures all adjustments are followed through in the system

  • Maintains all pertinent data information and files for each data development

  • Oversees all approved data entry, ensuring all adjustments are completed according to the objectives given
